My Favorite Things Color Challenge 2

My Favorite Things Color Challenge 2

Hey friends!

It's time for another weekly sketch, y'all! This time, the colors are a beautiful combo of pinks, purple, and blue.

For the background of my card, I used the Paint Strokes stencil. I applied ink directly through the stencil - I used the MFT ink pads in Cotton Candy, Poppin' Pink, Summer Splash, and Grapesicle.

I stamped the new 'Not So Basic - Thinking of You' sentiment on top of the colored areas. Afterward, I stamped directly over top of the black ink with clear embossing ink. I poured clear embossing powder over the ink, tapped off the excess, then melted it with my heat tool.

I stamped the lion images from Lovely Lions and colored them with Copic markers before cutting them out with a sharp pair of scissors. This would be way faster if you have the coordinating die set for the stamps. All of the Copic colors I used are linked down below in the supply list for you.

I adhered the card panel to a piece of black cardstock as a mat, then attached both to a white A2 sized card base. I popped the lions up with foam dots and added some clear sequins as a pretty bit of sparkle.

That's it! The card turned out cute than I even imagined in my head and I love it. Be sure to head over to the MFT blog to participate in the challenge. I can't wait to see what you make!

Hugs,

Jess
